The beautiful Hotel del Coronado never ceases to impress and surprise. Landscaping placed a while ago has now become more mature, bright, and colorful adding a bit of desert flair and fauna to this iconic costal hotel paradise. I've seen these planters graced by many different landscaping treatments over the years, but this latest display has become more striking with the passing of time. Good for the environment, the water bill, and particularly the eyes the field of succulents and cacti present a beautiful and unexpected foreground for this famous landmark. - Dan McGeorge
