Artist's Description

Coronado Polo Ponies
Coronado, CA

Polo action on the Coronado beach returned after 110 years as teams battled it out at the Hotel del Coronado. A fund raiser for Rady's Childrens Hospital, sponsored by the Hotel and Polo America, the event was the first of its kind since John D. Spreckels introduced the sport in 1906. Here just a touch of slow shutter speed lightly blurs most of the action as a player prepares to drive home a goal. -Dan McGeorge
