Artist's Description

Oregon Autumn
Applegate, Oregon

Driving the road through Upper Applegate valley at sunset I caught a beautiful scene out of the corner of my eye, concealed behind a copse of trees along the edge of the road. I stopped, walked back and made my way down a steep embankment until I was just clear of the branches that were standing in the way. As I suspected it was striking. An outbuilding under just the hint of sunset still remaining in the clouds above. One lone red tree stood out amongst the others, providing just a bit of magic. -Dan McGeorge
