Near the nation’s Capitol are buildings that house the Library of Congress. The most famous of these is the Jefferson Building located not far from the Supreme Court. Within it are timeless books and historical items of interest. It is also known for its remarkable architecture, breathtakingly evident throughout. Deep within its walls beyond the area of public access I rounded a corner into a stunning hallway. Having only a point and shoot camera in hand, I strapped it to a barrier support post and composed the image you see here. Security wouldn’t have let me in with my working equipment. The little camera did just fine.
