County Cork, Ireland
Ireland is a feast for the eyes at every turn. Enjoying its endless beauty as the tree-lined road made a gentle bend, I was stunned by the magnificence of St. Finbarr�s Oratory reflecting across the mirror-like surface of Gougane Barra Lake. Something told me perfection like this would not last for long. Speed walking along the edge of the lake, I found a vantage point, quickly composed and captured the breathtaking scene. Within seconds rain began falling, wind picked up, and the magical moment was gone. -Dan McGeorge
