Artist's Description

Devil's Field
Devil's Tower, Wyoming

My first recollection of this magnificent natural structure was Richard Dreyfuss piling up mud in his living room. Having my own close encounter with the country's first National Monument was so much more impressive. Walking the mile plus trail around it's base on a chilly spring day when few others were around was an unforgettable experience. Viewing it from a distance in the evening light was equally stunning. - Dan McGeorge
