On the morning of Valentines day I had photographed a full moon setting over the Hotel Del. To do so required a double exposure. The next morning the moon would set again, allowing me to photograph a similar scene a bit later using only one exposure. As the moon slowly approached the horizon though it began to fall into a thickening bank of fog. Knowing it would soon be out of sight, I captured this image while there was still time. It was a beautiful moment, likely never to be seen in this way again, frozen in time.
